Overview

If you are a Vice President of Development or a Vice President of Acquisition looking to move forward in your career then read on. Our Toronto based client is an established real estate investment firm looking for a Senior Vice President of Development and Acquisitions to lead a real estate development division within their firm and oversee its growth. If you are looking to have full autonomy of the Development Division and its projects, are a natural development strategist and able to source and lead investment and acquisition deals along with design and develop a robust development schedule whilst managing a delivery team within both a supportive yet entrepreneurial culture then we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

- Reporting to the CEO, identify suitable sites for high density residential, mixed-use developments across southern Ontario and predominantly the GTA, and assist with the acquisition.
- Develop all project plans and proformas, assemble consultant teams, manage the approvals, and oversee construction processes.
- Be the firm’s representative at all municipal and stakeholder meetings.
- Lead development and acquisitions with autonomy, source and lead investment and acquisition deals, design and develop a robust development schedule, and manage a delivery team.

Qualifications

- Industry leader with experience as a development professional, strong financial skills and business acumen.
- Genuine passion for leading a division in a company with aggressive growth plans.
- Expert in residential and mixed-use developments in the GTA.
