Job Purpose: This position serves as the organization’s “Nerve Centre,” ensuring efficient back-end operations that enable customer development and optimize tools, systems, and data management. The role is accountable for implementing and driving sales and data operational processes, while fostering cross-functional collaboration to deliver seamless execution
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence & Process Optimization
- Standardize and improve processes for scalable operations.
- Digitize key workflows using automation and low-code tools.
- Apply agile and design thinking to enhance tools and user experience.
- Systems & Technology Management
- Act as primary contact for troubleshooting across core systems (TPO, TPM, ERP, GS1, MDM).
- Partner with IT on upgrades, integrations, and compliance with Canadian data privacy regulations.
- Data Strategy & Governance
- Drive data governance to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
- Maintain POS and internal sales databases aligned with business strategies.
- Analytics & Reporting
- Develop Power BI dashboards and enable self-service analytics.
- Build automated dashboards and predictive models; explore AI/ML for forecasting and ROI.
- Data Architecture & Integration
- Support centralized data lake and streamline data flows across platforms.
- Integrate external retailer and syndicated data into unified reporting.
- Performance Management & Collaboration
- Monitor KPIs, benchmark best practices, and provide timely reporting.
- Act as liaison across CD, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and IT; lead issue resolution and training.
What You Need To Succeed
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Business, Sales, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Technology.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years of business experience, preferably in cross-functional roles within Customer Development, IT, or Operations.
- Systems Expertise: Hands-on experience with enterprise systems (SAP APO, SAP ECC, EDI, Evergreen TPO) and data platforms, having successfully navigated system implementation or transformation journeys.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Data & Analytics tools and MS Power BI.
- Versatility: Ability to wear multiple hats and adapt quickly to shifting priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Collaboration & Influence: Skilled at managing third‑party providers and working effectively with consultants and external partners while constructively challenging the status quo.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial approach with agility to learn unfamiliar areas and drive solutions independently.
- Core Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, critical thinking, organizational ability, and time management.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage and influence across all levels of the organization.
