Duties and responsibilities

- Install, repair, and replace in-plant adduction equipment and heat exchange systems including steam bundles, unit heaters, shell-and-tube exchangers, spirals, etc.;
- Fabricate new metal, plastic, fiberglass, polymer, and steel-polymer lined piping;
- Diagnose problems in heating systems by manipulating valves and instruments related to pipelines;
- Read plans and specifications to determine material lengths/quantities required;
- Comply with company health and safety standards, including wearing appropriate protective equipment (clothing and respiratory).

Education, experience, and competencies

- High school diploma or equivalent and a DEP in Plumbing and Heating;
- Plumber qualification certificate (construction or non-construction);
- Minimum of 5 years of experience (2 years in heavy or chemical industry, an asset);
- Natural gas burner system license (an asset);
- Ability to produce high-quality work;
- Show initiative;
- Support colleagues;
- Perform physical or mechanical tasks.
