This program provides you with a unique opportunity to build knowledge, confidence, and competence as you transition into your new career. As a new graduate Respiratory Therapist, our Regional Transition to Practice Mentor you will provide added support for:• Orientation and onboarding • Fostering and strengthening relationships • Clinical practice and mentorship to build practice readiness and consolidate skills• Developing a customized learning plan to transition to practice• Virtual open office space and introductions to other new graduates• Protected and/or supernumerary time for mentor/mentee connections, job shadows, self-directed learning, and/or classroom learning. • Navigating tools and resources. Eligible for membership with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and the British Columbia Society of Respiratory Therapists (BCSRT).Current valid BC Driver’s License.
