Compensation & Hours:
- The rate of pay is expected to be $75-$100K/year based on experience
- Based in office: Lethbridge, AB
Position Summary:
- Managing supply chain operations, including inventory, replenishment planning, and the preparation of purchase orders
- Collaborating with various departments to plan material purchases effectively
- Identifying quality suppliers and vendors that are reliable and cost effective
- Monitoring inventory levels and scheduling purchase deliveries
- Requesting cost proposals, negotiating contracts, and maintaining supplier relations
- Creating reports on inventory levels, purchase orders, and inventory turnover
- Ensuring timely communication and resolution of issues related to delivery, quality, or pricing
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years procurement experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong communication skills; including the ability to upward manage, collaborate with different departments, and manage orders with a variety of vendors and suppliers
- Experience with ERP Systems
- Advanced MS Office skills
- Proven history of developing effective inventory management solutions
- Motivated by operations and processes
Bonus Points For:
- SCMP designation or the ability to obtain
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
