Key Responsibilities
- Architect and validate mechanical parts, mechanisms, and assemblies
- Produce drawings, tolerance analyses, and bills of materials
- Scope opportunities, review RFQs and RFPs, and estimate efforts
- Coordinate external teams, schedules, deliverables, and priorities
- Oversee mechanical designs and thermal or FEA analysis
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent qualification
- Ten or more years designing components and electronic assembly systems
- Proficiency with SolidWorks, Creo, Siemens NX, or Inventor
- Working knowledge of thermal and FEA principles
- Experience with prototyping, lab testing, and external partners Bring senior mechanical design, thermal oversight, client communication, and production documentation expertise to Fidus electronic systems.
