If you hold a Class 1 or Class 3 license and want to work for a company that values safety, community, and career growth, we want to hear from you Watch Ledcor’s Innovation, Culture and Community video to see what it’s like working for Ledcor and apply today to join the Ledcor Highways team in various locations across Alberta.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdhNKGIZL4cRates & PremiumsWill be provided a base hourly rate from $26.50/hour to $31/hour based on experience Operators will be eligible to receive premiums starting at $8/hour, when performing winter maintenance operations Operators will be eligible to receive a premium starting at $14/hour when performing winter operations as a Class 1 operator and while operating the tow plow unitOperators who reside and work in Valleyview will be eligible to receive an additional $3/hr premium (Applicable Oct 1 to April 30)Extended health, dental, pension and RSP provided by CLACWork Conditions: As we respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required Season to runs October 1, 2025 - April 2026Staff accommodations can be provided in Edson (No travel allowance or LOA provided)Essential Responsibilities: Operate wheel loaders, snow plows and other heavy and light equipment as required Maintain Alberta Provincial Highways year-round, including assisting with labour duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.) Work outside in all weather conditions Qualifications: Successful completion pre-employment drug and alcohol testing Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs.Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement Clear 3-year driver’s abstract Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset #LI-NC1Additional InformationLedcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining.
