Pengcorp is seeking a responsible and dedicated OT Cybersecurity Infrastructure Specialist with extensive experience in operational technology infrastructures and open to a variety of challenges with both computing and networking systems. Reporting to the Director of Operational Technology and Cybersecurity Engineering Services, successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Assessing and maintaining IT/OT Infrastructures (networks, servers, virtualization, and wireless)
- Interpreting, understanding, and reviewing physical and logical diagrams, existing statistics, and installed assets
- Bringing projects above and beyond industrial requirements and specifications, and installed assets
- Performing system gap analyses, including technology assessment as needed, as well as road mapping upgrades for computing and network systems
- Supporting, implementing, testing, and validating computing and network system upgrades and improvements in alignment with standards and regulations while also considering user/field experience (e.g., CSA Z246.1, ISA 62443, NERC‑CIP, NIST SP 800‑82, ISO27000)
- Expand logging and visibility to cover “blind spots” within the fleet OT networks, based on risk and upcoming CIP‑003 requirements
- Monitor, tune and respond to events within OT monitoring tools and SIEM and complete OT Vulnerability assessments and monitoring
- Improving and maintaining user and remote access controls (e.g., Active Directory, F5, TACACS)
- Establishing and maintaining strong cyber‑security in System Architecture, performance improvement, Virtualization system infrastructure, directories, and physical and logical cyber‑security
- Taking ownership of tasks assigned and independently working to create operational excellence and proactively handle assignments or respond to client requirements or needs
- Perform remote or on‑site troubleshooting, testing, validating, and commissioning
Qualifications
- 10+ Years of Experience in Oil & Gas or Power Utilities
- B.SC. Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other relevant degrees
- Certified in at least two of the following:
- VMware (VMware Certified Professional, VCAP, DCD preferred)
- Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, CCIE preferred)
- NetApp (NCDA, NCIE‑DP Preferred)
- Microsoft Systems (MCTS/MCSA, MCSE Preferred or equivalent Azure qualifications)
- Veeam and/or Acronis Certificate is a strong asset
- Familiarity with cybersecurity standards and regulations (CSA Z246.1, ISA 62443, ISO27000, NIST S9800‑28)
- Knowledge of Cisco, EMC, DELL, Unix/Linux, Microsoft, VMware, Neonix, Palo Alto
- Experience with NetApp, Dell, HPE, Juniper, SolarWinds is a strong asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills
- Excellent analytical and time management skills
