They will work with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, create new processes, identify areas of improvement and drive the culture of CI within the organization through coaching. Key Responsibilities - The CI Engineer will support the Plant Leadership through participation in Daily Operational Reviews, problem solving initiatives, data analysis, metric reporting, and effective loss elimination to improve plant reliability and waste reduction. - The CI engineer will help to implement change management principles at all levels of the plant, through coaching and engaging employees. The position is instrumental in achieving the plant productivity targets by developing projects, ideas and best practices linked to the plant Loss Analysis. This includes validation of new processes and optimizing current processes (Ex: Changeovers, Sanitation, CIL, Centerlining, etc.) - In order to sustain results, this position will need to implement and train different functions on new tools (ex: standard work, TPM tools, gap analysis, data analysis, loss analysis) and ensure employee capability is being built. - This role also plays an important part in leading and supporting cross functional teams though the preparation, execution, and follow up of continuous improvement projects. · Support growth through participating in new product and innovation programs ensuring timely and quality execution o Stay abreast of market trends to drive a culture of continuous improvement, learning and involvement - Follow company’s health and safety program, rules and procedures and work in compliance with health and safety-related legislation and codes - Report all incidents, injuries, illnesses, and near misses to your supervisor - Use or wear safety equipment and personal protective equipment required by the company - Report to supervisor any hazardous or unsafe conditions, absence or defects in equipment and any contravention of health and safety legislation Recipe for Success - Completion of university degree in a related field - Minimum of 3 years of experience in Maintenance, Engineering or Production role, ideally in an industrial Food Manufacturing environment. · Prior experience leading CI projects incorporating 5S, Kanban, Visual Management, and other Lean methodologies. - Six Sigma Certification (nice to have) What We Can Offer - It’s an exciting time to be part of the Give & Go team as we are growing rapidly and want you to become a part our growth and extraordinarily bright future. - As we grow, we are committed to preserve the parts of our diversity & culture that is unique, people focused and are core to our success at every size.
