FNF Canada is a leading service provider of mortgage and loan related services to financial institutions in the mortgage processing, appraisal services, and title insurance industry. Reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence Reporting, the ideal candidate will be a client focused, highly professional self-starter with demonstrated experience in a similar function. They will also have a positive attitude with a high level of quality workmanship and attention to detail. The incumbent will be required to quickly develop an in-depth knowledge of FNF Canada's proprietary National Processing System and become familiar with corollary systems and technologies.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Design business analysis and data analytic systems for use throughout the department.
2. Translate operational requirements or problem statements into key criteria for report creation.
3. Maintain databases and perform updates as necessary to ensure accuracy.
4. Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve opportunities throughout.
5. Accurately collect and analyze data for various types of business needs and reports.
6. Partner with operational stakeholders to develop and enhance business reports and dashboards that allow the leadership team to make informed decisions.
7. Summarize vast amounts of data to develop reports and models that solve business problems.
8. Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers.
9. Build powerful business intelligence visualizations and insights using a variety of tools such as Power BI, Excel, and others.
10. Monitor data to identify changes in financial and business trends.
11. Investigate and reconcile all data related issues to ensure that the data and reporting is timely, accurate and all requirements are clearly documented and defined.

Qualifications:

1. Two to three years of experience as a reporting, data, financial or business analyst.
2. Exposure to the Real Estate industry and Lending products in Financial Services is an asset.
3. Ability to work with Business stakeholders to gather and analyze functional Business and Data Analytics requirements.
4. Proven experience and ability to write database code on SQL Server (including complex joins) and use database code to create insightful Business Intelligence dashboards.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI, SQL Server Reporting Services is an asset.
6. Ability to use SQL and Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts.
7. Experience working with large enterprise level datasets.
8. Experience in SAP, object-oriented programming and other data analysis programs.
9. Analytical skills that allow for the development of data-driven reports.
10. Demonstrated ability to manage time and prioritize projects to meet deadlines.
11. Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers.
12. Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions.
13. Possess an attention to small details that impact results.
14. General knowledge of business operations, objectives, strategies, process, and information flow.
