THE ROLE Since its inception, Hylands Golf Club has matured into a top-quality golf facility that offers a full range of services and amenities to its 1200 members and their guests. A true jewel among Canadian Forces golf facilities, Hylands continues to host numerous regional, national and international events. As part of CFMWS, our mandate is to provide affordable golf to our local military personnel and their families. Join our team as a Golf Course Worker, where you will be the steward of our acclaimed military golf operations. With your keen eye and expert care, you will preserve the beauty of our golf course, from vibrant greens and fairways to meticulously maintained flowerbeds. Your versatile role will include everything from horticulture and landscaping to assisting in the repair and construction of course features. Your commitment to detail will ensure all our structures, equipment and surrounding areas remain in pristine condition. QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience AND Valid Driver's Licence Experience In landscaping or golf course maintenance In operating specialized turf care equipment Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership. This is a seasonal position. The anticipated annual season is April - November. This unionized position is open to all interested parties.
