The successful applicant will become a member of the Department of Internal Medicine and will be required to participate in a call rota. 32 bed unit staffed by 2 internists and an NPWork includes ward wounds, new admissions, allied health care rounds, liaising with specialistsScheduled 10h shifts, (0700-1700 or 0800-1800) typically scheduled 7 days at a time Mon-Sun (with flexibility)Some expected home/night call compensated separately on MOCAPQuality improvement and teaching opportunities availableRichmond is an attractive community with one of the fastest aging populations in Canada.
