Software Development Manager

In this role, you will lead the development of a new product initiative designed to help mid‑market customers drive growth and improve lead conversion. You will manage and mentor a high‑performing engineering team while owning the end‑to‑end delivery of scalable, high‑quality software solutions. Accountabilities

- Lead, manage, and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering high performance and professional growth

- Oversee software design, development, and implementation across multiple concurrent projects

- Prioritize development work, remove blockers, and ensure timely and high‑quality delivery

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, scope, and technical solutions

- Establish and maintain project timelines, ensuring delivery within agreed constraints

- Enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality benchmarks across the team

- Identify risks, perform root cause analysis on technical issues, and implement preventive solutions

- Drive a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement

- Communicate progress, challenges, and outcomes clearly to senior stakeholders

Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

- 5+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role

- Proven experience managing high‑performing engineering teams and delivering complex projects

- Strong technical background with experience in Python, React, and relational and NoSQL databases

- Solid understanding of large‑scale system design and big data architectures

- Experience working with agile development methodologies

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities in fast‑paced environments

- Nice to have experience with cloud platforms, containerization, DevOps practices, or data and machine learning technologies
