Manages people and operations of Print and Insertion team at the Montreal in order to deliver on business goals including financials, employee engagement, etc. The role is also responsible for managing resources, identifying process improvements and fostering a collaborative work environment to ensure alignment, and optimize effectiveness, efficiency and service delivery within scope, schedule and cost.
This role is onsite and while primarily Monday to Friday, does require the flexibility to work off-shifts to match up with the people within the group (i.e. some evenings and weekends on occasion).
This role requires the candidate to be fluent in both French and English.
About The Role:
- Provide strong people management and administrative leadership to ensure team performance and engagement.
- Oversee Print and Insertion operations to achieve business, financial, and workforce targets aligned with Symcor’s strategic objectives.
- Ensure service level agreements (SLAs), client satisfaction (CSAT), and operational deliverables are consistently met or exceeded.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to manage workflows, allocate resources, address issues, and support client change initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with risk, privacy, security, and business continuity standards by implementing and validating appropriate controls.
- Drive workforce planning, including organizational structure, staffing needs, training, and succession planning.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, implementing, and mentoring process enhancements across the team.
- Ensure all client jobs are completed with accuracy and timeliness , in accordance with strict quality standards and deadlines.
- Promote health, safety, and professional development, influencing a positive, performance-driven work environment .
Requirements:
Education:
- Post Secondary Education and/or equivalent years of relevant operational leadership experience
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in people management, including managing other people managers.
- Proven experience in a large enterprise or production-based operations environment is an asset.
- Exposure to health and safety compliance is a plus.
Skills:
- Strong administrative and advanced MS Office and computer skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, engage, and develop high-performing teams.
- Solid understanding of service delivery, client requirements, and internal policies/procedures.
