Dufferin Aggregates, a CRH Company, is currently hiring a Licensed 433A - Millwright to join their growing team

Location: Acton, ON

Term: Full-Time, Permanent
Starting Wage: $43.04/hr with shift premiums of $1.25/hr for Afternoon and Night Shifts
Shift Schedule: Weekly rotation of Monday to Friday (6AM to 3:00PM, 2:45PM to 11:45PM, or 10:30PM to 7:30AM)

Job Responsibilities:

- Maintain equipment in proper operating condition through preventative and corrective maintenance, supporting during breakdowns.
- Responsible for project work (process and/or continuous improvement, reliability) and part of the annual shutdown team responsible for overhauls.
- Troubleshoot and maintain (repair, overhaul, install, replace) equipment such as belt conveyors, screw conveyors, dust collectors, pumps, pneumatic gates and actuators, compressors, boilers & water heaters, and similar equipment.
- Perform welding, cutting, brazing using different techniques and metals.
- Troubleshoot and maintain transmission systems from motors to gearboxes, sheaves/pulleys, shafts, bearings.
- Remove outdated and unused equipment as assigned.
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Valid 433A Millwright License
- 5 years of experience in a heavy industrial setting as a Millwright.
- Experience in welding, cutting, brazing using different techniques and metals.
- Hoisting and Rigging knowledge (considered a strong asset).
- Ability to read and follow blueprints, diagrams, schematics, and work procedures.
