About the Role

We’re looking for a Compliance Specialist to join our Brokerage Operations team. In this role, you’ll be instrumental in reviewing real estate transaction files to ensure they meet all Canadian regulatory requirements. You’ll partner closely with our Brokers and Transactions teams to uphold compliance standards, minimize risk, and maintain a seamless experience for agents.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. This role is perfect for professionals who excel at balancing precision, process, and collaboration — ensuring compliance integrity while keeping agent success at the forefront.

This is a great opportunity to help build a scalable, best-in-class compliance function at one of the fastest-growing real estate brokerages in North America and Canada.

What You’ll Do

- Review real estate transaction files to ensure compliance with state and provincial regulations.

- Verify that all required documents are complete, accurate, and submitted within deadlines.

- Flag missing or incorrect documentation and communicate clear next steps to stakeholders.

- Collaborate with Brokers and the Transactions team to resolve escalations and clear files for commission payouts.

- Utilize compliance tools, review queues, and tracking systems to manage workloads efficiently.

- Maintain accurate compliance records and provide documentation support during audits.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance processes, checklists, and training resources.

What You’ll Bring

- 2+ years of experience in real estate transactions, compliance, or related operations.

- Strong knowledge of Canadian real estate regulatory requirements.

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies quickly.

- Clear and effective communication skills for working with Brokers, Transaction staff, and Agents.

- Highly organized with the ability to manage large volumes of files in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency with transaction management software and compliance/audit tools.

- Active real estate license in good standing (preferred).

Education & Experience

- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

- Experience working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment preferred.

- Background in real estate and technology-driven operations is highly desirable.

- Be Agent Obsessed: We design every decision around creating value for our agents and their clients.

- Win Together: We set high standards, collaborate deeply, and celebrate shared success.

Additional Details

- Location Requirements: Candidates must be based in Canada to be considered.

- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for long periods of time.
