S. GAAP, and financial controls while working on-site at least four days weekly. Reporting to the Director, Accounting, this Senior Manager provides hands-on leadership across complex accounting portfolios. The role connects strategy with execution through close discipline, reporting quality, and transformation initiatives. Success requires technical accounting judgment, business partnership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead controllership for assigned portfolios and financial results
- Review complex accounting matters under IFRS and U.
S. GAAP
- Coordinate audits, SOX compliance, and control remediation
- Advise leaders on risks, issues, dependencies, and actions
- Implement scalable processes, controls, and finance automation
Requirements:
- 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience
- Leadership experience in complex or matrixed organizations
- Knowledge of close processes, controls, and operational accounting
- Experience leading multi-entity month-end and year-end closes
- Experience supporting audits, reporting, and transformation initiatives Bring technical accounting leadership, financial reporting discipline, and process improvement expertise to Brookfield Renewable’s accounting function.
