Eagle Homes seeks a New Home Consultant/Sales Professional to join our team with the opportunity in Castlegar.

The primary attributes for our ideal candidate are a proven successful track record in sales, a high level of accountability, and a successful track record of turning prospects into customers. Our ideal candidate is driven to succeed, accepts problems as unique challenges, is open to change, and takes action to move the sales process forward.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting for new business (Including Making Cold Calls).
2. Ability to qualify opportunities fast and early in the sales process.
3. Rapport building is key, with the focus on the end result of making and increasing sales.
4. Manage home projects from initial contact with client through to completion.

Skills and Abilities:

1. Positive attitude and proven track record.
2. Self-motivator and self-starter.
3. Strong sales and closing skills.
4. Proven abilities of prospecting for new business would be considered as an asset (Comfortable with cold calls).
5. Goal-orientated and can define those goals.
6. Creative problem-solver and opportunity-finder.
7. Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Experience:

1. No experience required. However, a minimum of 1 year experience in sales would be an asset.
2. Familiar with use and importance of a CRM system and computers.
3. Proven negotiation experience and understands the difference between and importance of revenue and profit.
4. Familiar with process of providing quotes and documentation in past sales roles would be considered as an asset.
5. Sales value-added versus price.
6. Excellent communicator.

Habits and Additional Skills

1. High level of self-responsibility.
2. Communicates professionally.
3. Follows up and follows through.

Requirements:

1. No experience required.
2. Grade 12 or equivalent.
3. Valid Drivers Licence.

Compensation

The successful candidate will receive compensation of $18.75/hr plus a commission program and company extended benefits.
