About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and strategic Talent Acquisition Specialist to help attract, source, and hire top talent while supporting broader HR initiatives. In this role, you will lead full-cycle recruitment and work on employee engagement, onboarding, and policy implementation to help ASCO build a strong, high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Promote ASCO's employer brand through recruitment marketing and networking.
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring.
- Lead onboarding programs to ensure a smooth new hire transition.
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives to enhance workplace culture.
- Assist with HR policies and best practices, ensuring compliance with labour laws.
- HR Generalist duties and responsibilities.

What You Bring:

- 5+ years in talent acquisition or HR generalist roles.
- Bachelor's degree (or diploma) in Human Resources Management or related field.
- CHRP designation preferred.
- Bilingual in English & French (oral and written) is required.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and social media recruiting tools.
- Knowledge of labour laws, employment standards, and unionized environments.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Teams, & Outlook).
