We Are In Search Of...

A skilled Product Manager to drive the development of our next-generation video surveillance devices, integrating both hardware and software. Reporting to the VP, Product Management & Marketing, you will work in close collaboration with our Hardware and Software R&D teams to ensure the successful delivery of innovative, high-performance devices. This role will involve overseeing the product lifecycle from concept to launch, with a focus on video technologies, video streaming, and deep learning AI analytics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Ownership: Define the product vision and strategy for next-generation surveillance devices, focusing on hardware (video capture, processing) and software integration.
2. Hardware & Software Expertise: Leverage your understanding of hardware (video capture, processing, edge devices) and software integration to create clear product requirements.
3. Video Technology Expertise: Apply your knowledge of video streaming technologies and video surveillance systems to guide product development.
4. AI & Deep Learning: Collaborate with the team to integrate deep learning AI analytics into the product, optimizing performance and enhancing user experience.
5. Product Lifecycle Management: Manage the full product lifecycle, including market research, requirements gathering, competitive analysis, and product launch.
6. Requirements & Prioritization: Define and prioritize detailed product requirements, user stories, and features based on customer needs and market trends.
7. Customer Validation & Feedback: Engage with customers and stakeholders to validate product features and ensure the product meets market demands.
8. Sales Enablement: Develop sales tools, presentations, and training materials to support the sales team and ensure successful customer engagement.
9. Competitive Analysis: Conduct competitive research to position the product effectively in the market and identify opportunities for innovation.
10. Collaboration with R&D: Work closely with the Hardware and Software R&D teams to ensure smooth integration of hardware and software components.
11. Launch & Go-to-Market: Lead product launches and work with marketing and sales teams to implement go-to-market strategies.
12. Performance Monitoring & Optimization: Monitor product performance post-launch, collect feedback, and work with the team to implement improvements.

What you bring…

- A background in video surveillance technology is a significant advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Strong background in hardware development (especially video capture, processing, and edge devices) and software integration.
- Experience with video streaming technologies (e.g., HLS, RTMP, DASH) and video surveillance systems is highly desirable.
- Experience with deep learning AI analytics and related hardware/software approaches is a huge plus.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in hardware/software product development, ideally in the video surveillance or security technology industries.
- Strong Agile product management experience (writing user stories, managing backlogs, prioritization).
- Ability to define clear product requirements and work effectively with engineering teams.
- Solid understanding of market trends and competitive landscapes.
- Sales enablement experience, including the creation of training materials and sales tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a focus on delivering value to customers.
- Ability to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proactive, self-starter with a focus on results.
- Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest hardware, software, and AI technologies in the video surveillance space.
