At Worldline, we are on a mission to create the most customer-focused payments experience. Join our Corporate Finance team as a Senior Financial Analyst where you will have the chance to work in an engaging, dynamic, and fast-paced environment.

You'll collaborate with Worldliners in every department across the business, providing valuable data analytics that help drive our business forward. As a member of our Finance team, you'll be in good company – we're a talented, passionate, and professional group, who cover all things finance across the organization

This particular role falls under the Business Performance side of Finance, where you'll witness first-hand what it's like to influence and make recommendations from a Finance perspective. The work you do in this role will contribute directly to driving profitability and accelerating growth. This role is full of opportunities for growth and learning – two things Worldline is committed to.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

You'll play a key role in facilitating process, and the financial flows of our operations. From reporting and budgeting, to forecasting and analysis of our results.

- Assist in the preparation and presentation of monthly, quarterly and annual results to the local and global executive teams.
- Assist in the preparation, development and monitoring of the annual budget.
- Preparation of business plans and financial models.
- Preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Provide ongoing reporting on business performance to support our sales and marketing teams.
- Partnership with the accounting team during the month-end close process and various accounting activities (AP, AR, Payroll).
- Assist the accounting team with internal and external audits.
- Create new processes and procedures for recurring controlling activities.
- Implementing and maintaining strong internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

Who you are

You don't have to check all the boxes below, but ideally our Assistant Controller would be someone who demonstrates the following:

- You'll have a CPA designation, along with a minimum of 5 years of work experience within an Accounting or Finance department.
- You communicate concisely via email and in person; with excellent writing skills and a gift for delivering the overarching storyline of your analysis.
- We like to have fun, but often we have tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment – ideally, you'll be someone who thrives on a timeline, knowing what needs to get done; you'll be able to handle the pressures that come along with meeting tight deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment.
- You'll have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information, all while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy. You'll have the ability to articulate findings in a way that makes sense for your peers.
- You'll be an advanced user of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications. Seriously, you'll be an Excel Wizard. You'll excel in Excel.

Nice to have (but not deal breakers)

- Experience using the ERP SAP or Epicor.
- Experience using Tableau Software.
- An active interest in pursuing the business performance side of finance would be an asset

Please note, Worldline requires that all candidates have legal eligibility to work in and be willing to undergo a background check upon offer/prior to hire.
