Mikros Animation es un estudio global de animación CGI que ofrece servicios completos de animación y CGI para cineastas, con sedes en Montreal y París. Su objetivo es ayudar a definir y desarrollar la visión creativa de cada proyecto, desde el guion hasta la pantalla, haciendo cada trabajo único.
Descripción del puesto
El Senior Compositing Artist es un experto en composición 2D/3D, capaz de manejar planos complejos aportando un gran valor artístico y técnico. Además, actúa como mentor dentro del equipo y es un referente para otros artistas.
Responsabilidades en producción:
- Asumir la responsabilidad de planos o secuencias complejas.
- Crear composiciones visualmente impactantes cumpliendo con los requisitos técnicos.
- Anticipar y resolver desafíos técnicos y creativos de forma autónoma.
- Contribuir a la mejora de herramientas, plantillas y flujos de trabajo del departamento.
- Participar activamente en revisiones internas aportando comentarios constructivos.
Colaboración:
- Guiar y apoyar a artistas junior y de nivel medio.
- Comunicar eficazmente con Leads, Supervisores y otros departamentos.
- Ayudar a asegurar la consistencia visual entre planos.
- Asistir en la integración de nuevos artistas en el pipeline y la cultura del estudio.
Requisitos
- Conocimiento experto de Nuke, incluyendo scripting básico, gestión de AOV y integración 2D/3D.
- Capacidad para manejar múltiples planos simultáneamente bajo presión de plazos ajustados.
- Motivación para aprender, crecer y compartir conocimientos.
- Ojo artístico fuerte para el detalle, composición e integración fluida.
- Capacidad para proponer soluciones creativas que satisfagan las necesidades de producción.
- Experiencia sólida en un entorno de producción estructurado.
- Capacidad para resolver problemas técnicos de forma independiente.
- Conocimientos básicos de inglés hablado y escrito.
Habilidades deseables:
- Familiaridad con scripting (TCL, Python).
- Experiencia con ShotGrid o herramientas similares.
- Sensibilidad a la fotografía, composición y teoría del color.
- Comodidad trabajando en entornos Linux/Unix.
Información adicional
El candidato trabajará estrechamente con el estudio de París en un entorno bilingüe, colaborando con socios, talentos y clientes internacionales. Interactuará regularmente con interlocutores no francófonos en diversas producciones y comunicaciones estratégicas para promover las fortalezas creativas y técnicas de Mikros Animation a nivel global.
