Currently Hiring: Janitorial Operations Specialist

Location: Head Office in Chilliwack

Hours: Full-Time | Monday-Friday

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- 2+ years leadership/management experience: coaching, motivating, developing and leading a team

- Scheduling experience with the ability to pivot and adapt

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Intermediate knowledge and experience working with and creating Excel spreadsheets

- Administrative, reporting and logistical skills

- Flexibility in schedule for weekly and occasional after‑hours meetings

- Commercial janitorial knowledge and experience is an asset

- High school diploma and some post‑secondary education preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Managing, developing and improving work standards and systems

- Creative problem solving, supervisory support and leadership to all staff

- Supporting new staff onboarding by creating training plans, managing and developing systems for tracking progress and identifying successes/gaps

- Plan and ensure regular inspections and quality reviews are planned and completed regularly by supervisors

- Plan and manage scheduling of janitorial staff: recurring schedules, sick notice and other fill‑ins, and day‑to‑day troubleshooting

- Creating and managing delivery schedules, and providing training where needed

- Work alongside the HR coordinator on all hiring needs, staff changes and providing input on disciplinary measures

- Payroll support: approving vacation requests, and hours worked for janitorial, delivery and supervisory staff

COMPENSATION

$50,000 – $60,000 commensurate with experience
