About the Job:

The Model Risk Management (MRM) team, part of the Risk Management function in SG CIB, oversees model risk management for SG America regions (US, Canada, Latin America). Main tasks include designing the model risk management system, conducting independent reviews of models, managing the model approval process, and monitoring model performance and compliance with regulations.

As a Quantitative Advisor, you will manage the AMER Model Inventory and the Model Risk Management platform (GRC Platform), develop and maintain the Continuous Model Monitoring (CMM) framework, and work closely with cross-functional teams including model validators, developers, and stakeholders across risk and business units.

This role requires a deep understanding of the model lifecycle, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and supporting model risk management initiatives.

Profile Required

Skills and Qualifications:

- 3+ years of risk management experience in model development, validation, or a front-office quant role
- Bachelor’s degree (Master's preferred) in a quantitative field
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, BI tools (Power BI), and Microsoft Office
- Experience with large datasets, quantitative analysis, and familiarity with model risk practices and US regulations (SR 11-07) is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, autonomy, and organizational abilities
- Ability to communicate in English effectively
