Competition # 25-164 Compensation $55,000 - $68,000 Classification Nation Support 2 Location Hybrid Surrey Period of Employment Permanent 37.5 Hours of Work Full Time Date Posted December 18, 2025 Closing Date January 5, 2026 About the Opportunity The Métis Child Care Benefit (MCCB) Administrator, assists the Child Care Manager and Child Care Navigation and Support Coordinators in the delivery and administration of the Métis Child Care Benefit Program for to all regions in the province. The MCCB Administrator assesses the needs and eligibility of children birth to eight (8) applying for MCCB Program and supporting them with the application process, in collaboration with the Navigation and Support Coordinators. They support in developing and implementing program guidelines in alignment with the Ministry of Education’s strategic goals and consulting with the Child Care Manager. They ensure accurate and up-to-date statistics are maintained, data collection, invoicing and reporting efficiently to support evidence-based best practices and monitoring. The MCCB Administrator assists in the needs of both child care providers and Métis families in the process of reducing barriers to the MCCB funding. The Administrator refers Métis families to the MNBC Métis Family Connections resource and referral program, aiding them in the MCCB application process and documenting barriers faced by Métis families while accessing Early Years programs and services.
