Your Opportunity
Our Building Specialty Services group is seeking a Building Science Consultant. Your Key Responsibilities
- Assists in the preparation of proposals and establishment of project financial budgets.
- Performs project contract drawing reviews (drawings, specifications, shop drawings, material submittals, etc.).
- Attends pre-construction meetings and document discussions.
- Reviews and reports on project mock-ups.
- Performs periodic site visits and utilizes a site visit reporting system to identify and update action items.
- Performs field testing to confirm building enclosure performance (water, air leakage, EFVM, infrared testing, etc.).
- Manages and coordinates small and large projects.
- Conducts business development to secure revenue-generating projects.
- Client management.
- Participates in continuing education.
- Performs various office-related tasks.
Qualifications
Your Capabilities and Credentials
- Organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize tasks on multiple projects.
- Project management experience.

- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Professional attitude.
- Commitment to succeed.
- Pursuing registration either as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect is a plus.
Education and Experience
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in building science consultation or equivalent knowledge of building envelope systems.
