Job Description

We are looking for a QA Project Manager to lead quality assurance efforts at Invoke. You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing the QA lifecycle—from test strategy to release—ensuring that our game meet the highest standards of quality, performance, and player experience.

This role requires strong project management skills, excellent communication, and a passion for games. You will act as the bridge between QA teams, development, production, and publishing, driving alignment on timelines, priorities, and deliverables.

What you’ll do

- Define QA strategy, scope, and work with your teams to develop the required test plans
- Lead, manage and mentor a cross-functional QA teams (internal and external) to meet milestones and release schedules and foster their growth and efficiency
- Consult with stakeholders to define and lead DevQA strategies for game systems, development tools, pipelines, performance and platform compliance
- Establish best practices for Dev QA and ensure adherence across all teams
- Evaluate and suggest improvements to build pipelines for faster and more reliable game builds and team delivery mechanisms
- Establish and utilize development processes, tools, and communication channels to support shipping the game/'s features across multiple platforms
- Define and establish the optimal communication systems to deliver testing results to the dev team
- Create and maintain QA schedules, budgets, and resourcing plans
- Track QA progress and provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders
- Anticipate risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
- Partner closely with Producers, Developers, and Design leads to align QA processes with development needs
- Act as the key point of contact between QA, external vendors, and platform partners
- Facilitate clear communication and issue-tracking across all teams
- Champion best practices in testing methodologies, automation, and reporting
- Analyze QA metrics and post-mortems to drive continuous improvement in quality and delivery.

What you/'ll bring

- 7+ years of experience in QA for video games, including3+ years in project management or leadership roles
- Proven track record of shippingAAA or large-scale live service gamesacross multiple platforms (console, PC, mobile)
- Strong knowledge ofQA methodologies, test planning, and defect management tools(e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
- Experience managingoutsourced QA vendorsand distributed teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Passion for video games and understanding of player expectations
- PMP, Agile/Scrum, or other project management certifications(nice to have)
- Familiarity withautomation testing frameworksand build pipelines (nice to have)
- Experience withcompliance testing(Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo)(nice to have)
- Knowledge of analytics and telemetry for quality measurement (nice to have)
