The AMS team seeks an experienced Workday HCM Functional Lead Consultant focused on Core HCM.

Demonstrate expertise in Workday functionality, configuration, and best practices, with a solid understanding of HR use cases. Guide clients on testing strategies, evaluate cross-stream dependencies, and consider maintenance and sustainability in configuration decisions.

Approach customer projects strategically, coordinate across workstreams, and develop scalable solutions. Take ownership of requirements gathering, scoping, and setting realistic timelines with clients.

Build strong client relationships by understanding their processes and needs. Offer proactive suggestions to improve Workday configurations and user experience. Manage multiple clients effectively, adapting to shifting priorities.

Support team success by ensuring timely, high-quality deliverables. Mentor junior members, contribute to staffing and onboarding, and help shape a capable team.

Contribute to team growth through process improvements, service enhancements, and sharing knowledge. Collaborate with sales to represent services, respond to client inquiries, and assist in creating sales content.

Qualifications

- Workday certification in Core HCM; additional certifications a plus
- 7+ years of customer or partner experience
- 5+ years of Workday Core HCM configuration
- Led multiple HCM implementations or 3+ years in Workday Post Production Services
- Experience with system configuration, security, business processes, Report Writer, EIBs, calculated fields
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Beneficial experience: client-side HCM or Workday implementation experience
