The Podiatry service strives to provide a high standard of evidence-based podiatric care within a variety of settings including GP surgeries, community clinics and hospital-based multidisciplinary diabetes centres.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an enthusiastic and friendly team based in the Grimsby; supported in regular clinical supervision, mentorship and development opportunities.
A band 5 to 6 development opportunity may be considered for the right candidate and would be subject to completion of set competencies.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be expected to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate podiatric care for a variety of clinical conditions.
They will be required to have a good understanding and clinical reasoning skills in MSK/Biomechanics, exercise and orthotic prescription, vascular assessment and wound management.

Person Specification
Education and Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma in Podiatry
- HCPC Registration
- Relevant accredited courses or experience to equivalent level
- Evidence of Masters level study.
Occupational experience and abilities
- Variety of post‑graduate experience in core clinical areas (min 1 year)
- Evidence of a range of CPD activities associated with clinical area of post
- Ability to travel around the geographical area in a designated timeframe.
- Specific evidence of experience in the role related area
Knowledge and skills
- Experience of student/staff supervision
- Evidence of involvement in Quality Improvement activities
- Evidence of working to support staff/students in relation to HR processes
