Interfor Belledune Divison NB is seeking energetic and enthusiastic team players to join our team as a Labourer-Firewatch.

What You’ll Do

- Responsible for monitoring work being performed and ensuring hot work is under control.

- Keep areas of work clean and organized.

- Other tasks as required, as assigned by supervisor.

What You Offer

- Experience in a sawmill operation will be an asset.

- Strong commitment to safety.

- Ability to remain calm in emergencies, respond quickly, and follow all reporting and safety procedures.

- Ability to work evenings/nights and remain awake and alert at a fixed location.

- Strong observation skills and ability to patrol for signs of fire or any other unusual events.

- Ability to lift +/- 50 lbs.

- Ability to take initiative.

- Work schedule:2-2-3 Rotation, 2 weeks day, 2 weeks night
