- Demonstrated ability to provide design/drafting expertise and execute project.
- AutoCAD experience in drawing plans, modifications, tile layouts/flooring/paint and proficiency with other technology i.e. Office 365, SharePoint, Adobe etc.
- Ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with clients, co-workers, management etc.
- Construction experience is preferred but not required.

Job duties:

- Meeting with clients to review plans, contract specifications and interior/exterior finishes
- Creating layouts (flooring, lighting, exterior elevations, detail drawings)
- Designing and drawing kitchens
- Entering change orders for potential upgrades and once priced presenting to clients for approval
- Finalizing all selections in file
- Ordering materials for construction i.e. cabinets, countertops etc.
- Site meetings to review electrical layouts with client
- Prepare material and colour schemes for spec homes and show homes
- Uploading files into online storage room- SharePoint
- Creating client binders and assisting with information flow to clients
