Remote Title: Informatica PC/IICS developer Roles and Responsibilities We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Developer with 8 to 12 years of experience in data integration and ETL processes. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Informatica Powercenter PL/SQL and Unix Shell Scripting. This role involves working in a hybrid model with a focus on developing and optimizing data solutions to enhance business operations. Responsibilities - Develop and maintain ETL processes using Informatica Powercenter to ensure efficient data integration and transformation. - Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for data warehousing solutionsli> - Implement and optimize SQL queries to support data extraction transformation and loading processes. - Utilize Unix Shell Scripting to automate data processing tasks and improve system performance. - Oversee the scheduling and execution of data workflows using Informatica Scheduler and External Scheduler tools. - Provide technical expertise in PL/SQL to design and implement robust database solutions. - Ensure data quality and integrity by performing thorough testing and validation of ETL processes. - Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data integration and ETL workflows in a timely manner. - Document technical specifications and maintain comprehensive records of data integration processes. - Collaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement innovative solutions. - Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data warehousing and ETL technologies. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration practices and methodologies. - Support the hybrid work model by effectively managing tasks both remotely and on-site. Qualifications - Demonstrate proficiency in Informatica Powercenter and related ETL tools. - Possess strong knowledge of PL/SQL and SQL for database management and optimization. - Have experience with Unix Shell Scripting for automation and process improvement. - Understand data warehousing concepts and best practices. - Exhibit excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. - Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders. - Adapt to evolving technologies and industry trends. Remuneration Application Accepted: 11/25/2025 The annual salary for this position is between $80,000 - $99,500 CAD depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
