Sr. Technical Project Manager, Store Applications | Brampton (1 year contract)
Are you passionate about solving complex technical challenges, driving innovation, and being part of a dynamic team that enjoys what they do? As a Senior Technical Project Manager on our team, you'll dive into a mix of exciting projects—from streamlining systems and automating workflows to supporting new tech rollouts and tackling real-time issues that keep our Point Of Sale business running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the technical product’s hardware, software, network connectivity, and overall performance.
- Provide technical support to end users of the product, addressing incidents, service requests, and usage-related questions.
- Support the planning and execution of product updates, patches, integrations, and environment migrations.
- Collaborate with developers, engineers, and stakeholders to enhance product functionality, reliability, and user experience.
- Maintain detailed documentation of product configurations, support procedures, and ensure alignment with security and compliance standards.
What You Bring
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills – Demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Operating Systems & Networking – Solid understanding of Windows and Linux, along with foundational knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, and hardware troubleshooting.
- SQL & Data Analysis – Proficient in using SQL or similar tools to query databases and interpret technical data.
- Application Support Experience – Skilled in supporting business-critical applications, including issue investigation and collaboration with third-party vendors.
- Cloud & Monitoring Tools – Familiar with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP, and experienced with monitoring tools such as Splunk, SolarWinds, or New Relic. Also knowledgeable in ITIL practices including incident, change, and problem management.
