Summary

Our Thunder Bay location is hiring for Sample Preparation Technicians to assist us in preparing samples for laboratory analysis. The schedule for this role will be 12‑hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off on a rotational night shift schedule (8 PM‑8 AM or 8 AM‑8 PM). The expected end date of the position is Nov 1 2025.

What you will be doing

- Unpack, sort, check, crush and pulverize mineral samples using specialized equipment

- Safely follow standard operating procedures and perform quality control checks as required

What you bring to the table

- High School Diploma

- Fork Lift certification/license is an asset

- Ability to lift 25 kg on a consistent basis

- Hand‑eye coordination and attention to detail

- Fluency in English, both verbal and written

- Ability to handle multiple tasks within a fast‑paced work environment

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, with a mature work ethic

- Problem solving, communication, organization, and time management

- Commitment to production of accurate and timely results

- Must be able to wear a respirator and other PPE properly and follow all safety protocols

- Must be flexible to work day and night shifts, including weekends, on a 4‑days‑on‑4‑days‑off rotation
