Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking a talented Senior Engineer to join our Trust Data Platform team. As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of our data platform infrastructure. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our data systems.
We are looking for hybrid candidates based in Canada.
Responsibilities
1. Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of robust, scalable, and secure data platform solutions
2. Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver data solutions
3. Develop and maintain data pipelines and ETL processes using Python
4. Utilize AWS services to build and manage cloud-based infrastructure
5. Implement and manage Snowflake for data warehousing and analytics
6. Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment and testing of data platform components
7. Ensure the security and compliance of the data platform by implementing best practices and standards
8. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the data platform
Minimum Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
2. 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data platforms and infrastructure
3. Expertise in AWS services, including but not limited to EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and IAM
4. Proficiency in Python programming language
5. Experience with Snowflake or similar data warehousing solutions
6. Understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
7. Understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
8. Proven ability to design and implement scalable and secure data solutions
9. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues
10. Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
11. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
Preferred Qualifications
1. Experience with other programming languages such as Java or Go
2. Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards. (e.g., SOC, FedRAMP, GDPR)
3. Familiarity with machine learning and data science concepts

Qualifications minimales
1. Baccalauréat en informatique, en ingénierie ou dans un domaine connexe
2. Plus de 5 ans d'expérience en ingénierie logicielle, avec un accent sur les plates-formes de données et l'infrastructure
3. Expertise dans les services AWS, y compris, mais sans s'y limiter, EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda et IAM
4. Maîtrise du langage de programmation Python
5. Expérience avec Snowflake ou des solutions d'entreposage de données similaires
