Senior Logistics Operations Manager – Drive Operational Excellence Across a Dynamic Fleet

As the Senior Logistics Ops Manager, you’ll oversee logistics across 2 warehouses in Toronto—managing a fleet of more than 70 trucks and leading a team of 100+ drivers and driver helpers. You’ll play a key role in helping streamline processes to amalgamate those 2 warehouses into one brand-new massive warehouse set to open its doors in 2027

This role is ideal for a forward-thinking, critical-thinking customer-driven leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on operational excellence.

What You’ll Do

- Optimize Operations: Streamline routing, scheduling, and inter-warehouse transfers to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
- Lead and Inspire: Manage and mentor a large logistics team, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and customer care.
- Deliver with Excellence: Oversee all aspects of last-mile delivery and pickup, ensuring flawless execution for every client event.
- Champion Safety & Compliance: Manage fleet compliance (CVOR, DOT, TDG) and implement proactive safety and driver training programs.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Use data and feedback to identify service gaps, improve processes, and enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations to align logistics with business goals.
- Shape the Future: Lead strategic initiatives that modernize the logistics function through technology, scalability, and innovation.

What You Bring

- Post-secondary education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in logistics or transportation management, including 3+ years in a senior or multi-site leadership role
- Operations mindset to think critically to see how your role affects other other areas of the company (sales, finance, operations, etc)
- Strong knowledge of fleet safety, compliance, and transportation regulations (CVOR, TDG, DOT)
- Expertise with logistics software, route optimization, and fleet management systems
- A collaborative leadership style with a track record of building high-performance teams
- Valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel between 2 warehouse sites
- willingness to work outside of traditional work hours to ensure customer satisfaction and streamline processes
