Flordeco is a Quebec company in constant evolution for 15 years. We aim to offer a varied range of products as well as a turnkey service to meet the needs of our customers. We now have 36 stores in Quebec and one in New Brunswick. We are specialized in flooring and decoration. We are currently looking for a dynamic person to fill the warehouse clerk position.

Job Description:
Warehouse and delivery clerks are passionate about the road as well as human relations. They set up an optimization in the warehouse, from the reception of the materials until the placement in store. The ideal candidate must be organized, valiant and must have good physical strength. In addition, they ensure the safe transport of our customers' goods in their area. Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Clerk ensures good management of the inventory and warehousing.

Main tasks:

1. Support the receipt of the goods;
2. Prepare orders;
3. Organize and classify the goods in the warehouse;
4. Ensure the cleanliness of the warehouse;
5. Assist truckers with unloading during deliveries;
6. Maintain material inputs and outputs;
7. Keep a record of equipment loans;
8. Manage the inventory of the warehouse;
9. Loading and unloading of materials;
10. Deliver materials on time and the directions;
11. Verify the condition of the goods with the customer and have the invoices legibly signed;
12. On request, write a daily road report;
13. Handle, if necessary, a hand truck or other equipment to load or unload materials;
14. Check daily the fluid level of the vehicle, the condition of the tires and ensure the interior and exterior cleanliness of the vehicle;

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (30 to 40 hours / week)

Education Level: High School Diploma (General) (DES)

Job-Related Experience: An Asset

Job requirements:

1. Ability to lift heavy loads;
2. To be responsible; dynamic;
3. Have a good team spirit;
4. Hold a valid driver's license;
5. Ability to prioritize the work to be performed;
6. Have a sense of greater autonomy;
7. Forklift driving (an asset);
8. Availability to work on a 7-day schedule;
9. Bilingual an asset (French and English);
10. Have a good sense of direction;
11. A good driving record is required and could be requested at the hiring;

Salary: To be discussed according to skills and experience.
