Maintain excellent customer service and checkout area.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CUSTOMER SERVICE:

1. Provides excellent customer service and positively engages with all customers.
2. Maintains a neat and organized checkout area.
3. Greets all customers and displays a warm demeanor.
4. Accurately scans or enters product data.
5. Accurately accounts for cash and coupon, lottery, and PC Optimum.
6. Asks for customer's PC Optimum Card during each transaction.

MERCHANDISING:

1. Ensures proper documentation is completed with respect to customers' receipt and return of goods.
2. Merchandises and maintains designated areas (i.e., facing, signing, labeling, etc.).

LOSS PREVENTION:

1. Ensures loss prevention standards are followed.
2. Controls cash, lottery, and stamp inventory.

GENERAL:

1. Presents proper image to the public in accordance with Uniform Policy and Dress Code Guidelines.
2. Complies with all health and safety regulations.
3. Complies with all store policies and procedures.
4. Ensures the standards of housekeeping and image are maintained.
5. Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Planning, judgement, and decision-making.
2. Balance teamwork and efficiency in processing the customer order.
3. Organization and neatness.
4. Efficiency in processing the customer order.

EXPERIENCE:

1. Strong computer and register skills.
2. Well organized with the ability to record keep.
3. Detail-oriented.
