Pipefitters/3&4YR Apprentices (West of Cold Lake, Alberta)

Comec Energy Services is looking for skilled pipefitters for the Project Cenovus Foster Creek facility. The role involves plant and field maintenance for SAGD operations.

Shift: 8 & 6 12-hour days with overtime eligibility.

Competitive job‑market rates plus travel allowance. The last day of the shift is 8 hours; camp accommodation is available.

Responsibilities

- Open and close tanks, vessels, and exchangers.
- Rig and fit-up various components, including work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Perform blinding, hydrotesting, and work under air as required.
- Complete punch lists and correct deficiencies.
- Assist with transportation to and from the site (bussing offered).

Requirements

- Valid apprenticeship or 3–4 year pipefitting experience.
- Pre-access testing and D&A verification, plus pre-employment testing.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
