Sales Engineer

We are partnered with a world leading Mechanical Test Equipment Manufacturer that is looking for an energetic and technically minded Sales Engineer to support our customers throughout Eastern Canada.
You will build trust-based relationships and ensuring clients receive exceptional guidance and support. Every day brings new opportunities to explore diverse industries—including aerospace, automotive, defense, packaging, manufacturing, and public-sector research—making curiosity and a strong desire to learn essential qualities for success.
The position is field-based, requiring regular on-site customer visits and travel within the territory. You’ll work with a high degree of independence while still collaborating closely with the Eastern Canada sales and service teams.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French—both written and spoken.
- Minimum of 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in outside sales involving capital equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, materials science, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong customer-centric mindset and the ability to understand technical needs.
- Self-driven, focused, and motivated to consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
- Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively to a regional sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Eastern Canada sales and service teams to achieve quarterly and annual bookings across the territory, Ontario and Quebec.
- Deliver persuasive demonstrations and technical presentations that clearly communicate the value and capabilities of the product portfolio.
- Create and execute a strategic territory plan designed to meet sales targets, expand market presence, and grow share in key industries and applications.
- Build strong, long-term customer relationships by providing excellent support, quickly addressing questions, and offering solutions that align with client needs.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging applications, sharing insights with corporate teams to help identify and pursue new sales opportunities.
