We are seeking a motivated and experienced Healthcare Project Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing healthcare projects from initiation through completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and schedule constraints. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare project management, particularly with Clinical Information Systems (CIS), Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Electronic Health Record (EHR) and digital health applications and a proven track record of successfully leading projects in the healthcare sector.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING IN THE ROLE
- Manage and lead healthcare projects, including planning, coordination, implementation, and evaluation phases.
- Collaborate with clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring adherence to project goals and constraints.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate resources, including internal team members, external consultants, and vendors, to ensure project success.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and communication sessions with stakeholders to provide updates and gather feedback.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and healthcare industry standards throughout project execution.
- Manage project documentation, including requirements, design specifications, and change requests.
- Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings, proposals, and presentations as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
WHAT SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS YOU’LL NEED TO DO THE JOB
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience (5 years) as a Project Manager in the healthcare industry, with specific expertise in Clinical Information Systems (CIS), Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Electronic Health Record (EHR) and digital health applications.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with organizational change management methodologies is desirable.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- PMP certification or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
- Experience with Agile methodologies is desirable.
- Ability to travel as required.
