Main Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust and scalable architecture solutions for Unreal projects.
- Develop and integrate gameplay features, working closely with designers and artists.
- Create and maintain tools and pipelines (level editors, animation tools, asset pre-processing/post-processing, etc.) to improve team efficiency.
- Optimize and debug code to ensure game stability and performance on various platforms.
- Ensure cross-platform compatibility and manage porting tasks.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends related to Unreal Engine and game development.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in game programming, with a minimum of 7 years in Unreal Engine.
- Strong proficiency in C++ and Blueprints, with a solid understanding of software architecture and gameplay.
- You see AI as an essential tool to push boundaries and focus on what matters: content, not container.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Willingness to work in various domains (architecture, gameplay, tools).
- Familiarity with version control systems (Perforce).
- Experience in cross-platform development and porting (a strong asset).
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages (an asset).
- Knowledge of C# programming and Unity (an asset).
