Role Description

We are looking for a Project Manager for a 2 Year Contract position in Regina, Saskatchewan, with possible extensions. Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

The anticipated start date is May 1, 2025.

This position can be done remotely or onsite. If working remotely, there will be an onsite travel requirement to the client's office in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor overall project performance and manage scope, cost, schedule and deliverables.
- Apply appropriate techniques for planning, monitoring and reporting, change control, and risk and issue management of large-scale data conversion and migration project.
- Work closely with the project team members to collaborate and ensure alignment in project goals and successful delivery of the project.
- Assign clear roles and responsibilities, providing effective oversight of the data conversion and migration deliverables and tasks.
- Manage and effectively work with external vendor partners in delivery of solutions and services.
- Ensure project delivers on specified outcomes and meets quality expectations.
- Create and manage overall project budget.
- Update stakeholders with reports on the progress and performance of projects.
- Proactively identify and mitigate project risk to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Create and manage comprehensive project documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Post-secondary education in Project Management or a relevant field.
- Relevant certification(s) in Project Management.
- A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in project management and experience managing cross-functional project teams.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in a Project Manager role, managing large-scale data conversion and migration projects.
- A minimum of 7 years of proven vendor management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing predictive, agile and hybrid projects.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, management, and communication skills at all levels of the organization.
- Proven project and resource planning capabilities.
- Proven knowledge of data conversions and migration processes, tools and methodologies.
- Proven knowledge of data governance and compliance requirements.
- Excellent written skills and employ a disciplined approach to managing project records.
- Proficiency with project management software.
