£35,000 - £40,000 (Dependent on Experience)

Clark Wood, specialists in Accountancy Practice recruitment, are partnering with a well-regarded firm of chartered accountants in the affluent city of York. This progressive firm is seeking an experienced Accounts Senior / Senior Accountant to join their expanding team.

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a key role in the firm, focusing on year-end accounts production and corporation tax compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting with a portfolio of clients

- Liaising directly with clients

- Supporting junior staff members

- Preparing and reviewing statutory and management accounts

- Handling corporation tax computations and returns

Qualifications and Skills

- ACA / ACCA Qualified or Finalist (AAT Qualified or QBE candidates also considered)

- Essential experience in a general practice role

- Up-to-date knowledge of relevant accounting standards

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join an established firm with a clear platform to progress into a Client Manager.
