We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager, Applications Development. There will be some travel between locations required in this position. Likely every other week the PM will have to travel between the office located in Brampton out to Windsor. We are also willing to accept a candidate that lives in Windsor but again, would have to travel to the Brampton location bi‑weekly. (There may be some flex with the amount of travel but there will be travel)

This role is expected in the office 5 days a week. They are a manufacturing company and all employees work in the office everyday.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to lead our applications development initiatives. This role is pivotal to our organization and requires a leader who is not only proficient in Agile methodologies but also well‑versed in the entire project management lifecycle. As a Project Manager, you will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure projects align with both business objectives and technical standards, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Agile Methodology Implementation: As the cornerstone of this role, you will champion the adoption and execution of Agile best practices. This includes leading Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives to ensure transparency and momentum. Your deep expertise in Agile will be essential in guiding the team through iterative development cycles and ensuring continuous delivery of high‑quality software.

- Project Planning & Execution: You will define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with key stakeholders. By developing detailed project plans that outline timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, you will oversee the execution to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Team & Stakeholder Management: A key part of your role will be serving as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders. You will work closely with software developers, QA teams, and other departments to ensure that project objectives are aligned and that any issues are promptly addressed through regular project meetings.

- Risk & Quality Management: You will proactively identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to handle them. Monitoring performance metrics and ensuring the quality and scalability of applications will be crucial to maintaining high standards and meeting regulatory requirements.

- Continuous Improvement: We value innovation, so you will also play a key role in recommending and implementing new tools and processes to enhance efficiency. You will mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.

Requirements

- Educational Background: A Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

- Agile Expertise: Extensive hands‑on experience with Agile methodology is a must. The candidate should be well‑versed in Agile frameworks and capable of leading teams in an Agile environment.

- Certifications: Possession of relevant certifications such as PMP or ScrumMaster is required to validate project management expertise.

- Project Management Skills: Proven experience in managing application development projects from conception to deployment is essential. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of delivering projects successfully in a dynamic environment.

- Interpersonal and Leadership Skills: The role demands excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. The candidate should be able to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
