Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled and dynamic Technical Project Manager with extensive experience in leading complex software projects, including both web and mobile application development. The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 7 years of project management experience with a strong focus on Agile methodologies and the role of Scrum Master. This position requires a deep technical understanding of software development, including DevOps practices, cloud technologies, quality assurance, and business analysis.
You will be responsible for driving the successful execution of projects in an environment where requirements often shift, requiring exceptional adaptability, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Additionally, you will need to foster strong partnerships with clients and cross-functional teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Software Project Delivery: Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of web and mobile application projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are consistently met.
- Scrum Master Role: Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including daily scrums, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring smooth sprint cycles and continuous delivery.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and DevOps teams to align priorities, allocate resources, and address project requirements efficiently.
- Scope Management: Effectively manage shifting project scopes, ambiguous requirements, and evolving priorities while maintaining clear project objectives and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Project Documentation: Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive project documentation such as project plans, schedules, and budgets. Provide regular status reports to stakeholders.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track and aligned with objectives.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the central point of communication, ensuring transparency and keeping all team members, clients, and management well-informed of project developments and changes.
- Budget Oversight: Manage and control project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial objectives are met or exceeded.
- Client and Team Relations: Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, team members, and stakeholders. Address concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and engagement.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay informed on the latest developments in software engineering, DevOps, cloud technologies, and Agile practices. Implement innovative strategies to enhance project delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in technical project management, with a proven track record of managing both web and mobile application projects.
- Agile Expertise: Strong experience in Agile methodologies with Scrum Master certification preferred.
- Technical Acumen: Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, DevOps processes, cloud technologies, and quality assurance methodologies.
- Leadership and Organizational Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects concurrently, and ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders with clarity.
- Financial Management: Skilled in budgeting, financial forecasting, and resource management, ensuring project costs align with financial goals.
- Adaptability and Problem-Solving: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, showing strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Client Relationship Management: Demonstrated experience in building trust and maintaining long‑term relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project goals.
