Sudbury, Canada Green Infrastructure Partners Full time

Reporting to the Shop Supervisor, the 310T Mechanic will help the shop by maintaining and repairing equipment in the company’s maintenance and repair shop.

Primary Scope of Role:

- Makes field service calls to repair.
- Troubleshoots, adjusts, overhauls, and maintains Western Star, Mack, International and Kenworth trucks and trailers
- Travels project sites as required to perform equipment service and repair.
- Works on equipment, trucks and small engines as required.
- Conducts Safety certification inspections.

Position Requirements:

- Experience with CAT equipment, Kenworth trucks will be an asset.
- 310T Truck and Coach Technician Certification
- Heavy equipment experiences preferred but not required.
- Mobile field service experience
- A valid driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract
- Understanding of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic systems and components
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems.
- Comfortable using a computer and other electronic resources.
- Mechanical and mathematic aptitude
- 10-hour shifts
- Work may involve weekends and overtime as required.
