SOTI is committed to providing its employees with endless possibilities; learning new things, working with the latest technologies and making a difference in the world.What You'll DoThe responsibilities below are applicable in addition to those of DevOps Engineer II:Design, develop, test and deploy complex product modules on timeEnd-to-end ownership of the assigned modules with a strong focus on the solution, code quality, performance, security and efficiencyActively contribute towards design discussionsDemonstrate engineering excellence through commitment to quality execution, continuous improvement and customer empathyReview code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices, such as style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability and efficiencyProvide solid technical leadership and work closely with team leads, Product Management and QA teams for flawless delivery of the productActively contribute towards the CICD processDrive team in adopting relevant new technologies, tools, methods and processesMentor and train junior team members on design techniques and coding standardsPropose innovative solutions to address business problemsMaintain high-quality standards on all deliverablesProactively identify and work on automation opportunitiesConduct training and resource onboardings sessionsExperience You'll BringBachelor’s degree in computer science or any STEM-related programs5-8 years of enterprise software development experience with proficiency in full-stack developmentDeep understanding of data structures and algorithms, SOLID principles and software design patternsGood understanding of DB concepts, data modeling and storage with a well-known relational database, preferably SQL ServerStrong technical, problem-solving, communication and cross-group collaboration skillsPride in ownership and passion for innovationExperience in agile methods such as Scrum/XP, Business Driven Development and Continuous Delivery#LI-RJ1If you want to bring your ideas to life, apply at SOTI today.We are committed to providing accessible employment practices that are in compliance with the requirements under the Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
