As our Project Manager, you are responsible for managing all aspects of projects from implementation phase through to completion. Ensure that projects are safety compliant, completed on time and the budget is in accordance with the specifications and scope of work.
Position Overview:
1. Provides input on execution phases of a project to ensure that the client requirements are met.
2. Responsible for the overall management of the project including production of purchase orders, subcontracts, equipment, insurance, permits and bonds.
3. Work with the Project Planner, Project Design Engineer, and outside consultants on specified project scheduling and drawing requirements.
4. Initiates conflict resolution with subcontractors, suppliers, and employees when necessary.
5. Implements change requests from the client or as required for project completion.
6. Primary project contact liaises with the client from the start of the project to completion. This includes building inspection.
Qualifications Needed:
1. Post-secondary education in the field of engineering OR minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Coordinator/Project Manager in the construction industry.
2. Understand the fundamental business principles such as financial, legal, and organizational aspects.
3. Professional communicator, offering creative solutions while managing critical project details.
4. Experience using MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
