Customer Service Representative Manitoba Theatre for Young People Deadline: March 21, 2025

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Engage patrons in a warm and friendly manner to ensure the highest possible level of customer service on behalf of MTYP.
2. Report to and work closely with the Customer Service Manager (CSManager) to meet or exceed MTYP's frontline service goals.
3. Serve as reception to the public, both in person and via phone or email communications, and provide general administrative support.
4. Maintain accurate entries in the MTYP customer relationship management (CRM) database for customer contacts and all transactions.
5. Prepare reports, including contact and/or class lists, sales, and other financial summaries as directed.
6. Ensure accurate posting of transactions at end of shift and forward reports as needed for deposits.
7. Maintain an accurate cash float during all shifts.
8. In consultation with the CSManager, resolve customer service concerns that may arise.
9. Resolve any technical issues for internal or online access to MTYP's CRM/ticketing software or escalate to the CSManager where unable to directly resolve.
10. Provide administrative support to other departments, particularly School and Indigenous Theatre for Youth, as assigned by the CSManager.
11. Support the Front of House and Facilities Manager, or FOH supervisor on shift during all performances supported by MTYP box office.
12. Notify the FOH and Facilities Manager and CSManager of any facility matters that may arise during scheduled shifts.
13. Support the School Sales Coordinator in serving educators and schools booking school shows and tour dates.
14. Assist the CSManager in the preparation of seasonal and/or sessional pricing of subscriptions packages, single tickets, group sales, discounts and complimentary tickets.
15. Other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the CSManager.
Starting wage: $15.80/hour
Additional benefits may be available depending on the final role offered.
We are anticipating a start date for the successful candidate of April 14, 2025, but would entertain an earlier start date where feasible.
